You probably already have seen the neat astronomy stuff archived at
oakland, but in case you ain't then check this out. There is some cool
applications you can download. We found this one called Sky Map; it's for
Windows and lets you view constellations, stars, planets and other
objects. It has info on 15,000 stars on the shareware version, including
magnitude, position, etc. In addition, you can laser print maps from it.
FTP to oak.oakland.edu and go pub/msdos/astrnomy (yes it is spelled
incorrectly in the directory). Here is a list of what's there:
