FROM THE EDITOR: A NEW ADDRESS
Welcome to the fifth issue of _The Armchair Astronomer_, a monthly e-zine
devoted to the study and application of astronomy and its impact on the
average layperson. A few significant changes have come about this month.
First, in response to several reader requests, I'm trying to get the
newsletter out _before_ the beginning of the month so you have time to
plan ahead for particular events I may mention in the calendar. I cannot
guarantee a press date, but you can expect around the 25th of each month.
If it's a little late don't worry. Sometimes my calendar information
doesn't show up until the first of the month anyway.
Also, I've changed the mailing address for all inquiries, subscription
requests, contributions, letters, etc. Please send all future e-mail to
correspondances to: astro@gdl.msu.edu.

ADDENDUM: Just to make sure there is no confusion on things, I will
restate that the new address of AstroNet is resource@rahul.net. See
last month's Letter's Page for a discussion of AstroNet.
ERRATUM: Last month's article on the Ulysses spacecraft contained an
incomplete but unimportant last sentence. The editor apologizes for
the oversight.
