When I was visiting Ireland I saw an interesting work of graffiti at a football stadium.
In big letters on the wall, "JESUS SAVES!" And under it in a different hand, "BUT CARLOS SCORES ON THE REBOUND!"
While in New York I saw, "JESUS SAVES!" And under it, "MOSES INVESTS!"
Many people will go out of their way to avoid having to deal with the content of John 3:16 on a personal level.
