Account Director, Weber
Shandwick Worldwide, Cambridge, MA (June 2000 to January 2003)
Served as primary client contact and team leader for three high-tech public
relations accounts, managing eight to ten PR professionals and providing both
counsel and tactical media and analyst relations services. Companies served
included a wireless messaging vendor, a manufacturing process software
provider, several high-tech venture capital firms and a professional services
firm. Responsible for annual revenues ranging from $250,000 to $500,000.
Various Positions, Primix, Watertown, MA (May 1997 to
May 2000)
As the company's Marketing Communications Manager (January 1999 to May
2000), managed the public relations program and provided support for the
direct marketing, advertising and brand development programs of a rapidly
growing, publicly-traded Internet services firm. Led the company's PR agency
review, which six months later resulted in a fivefold increase in media
coverage.
As the Training and Support Manager for Advis, Inc. (May 1997 to
January 1999), which was bought by Primix in December, 1998, managed developer
and customer support and training for software products and consulting assets
at a $5 million "Inc. 500" firm; played key role in the development and
maintenance of the company's IT/IS infrastructure; coordinated the
implementation of Java and application server training.
